Personal Trainers Greg Gibbs Holds a Masters degree in Sports Management and a Bachelors of Science degree both from Northeastern University and is working on a second Masters in Physical Education and Coaching from Boston University. Certifications: CSCS*D (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with Distinction) from the (NSCA) National Strength & Conditioning Association, USAW-Olympic Weight Lifting Club Coach. Greg has trained Olympic level athletes and also spent nine years training division I college athletes at both Northeastern and Harvard University as an assistant strength & conditioning coach to carious division I men's & women's athletic teams. Greg has sport specific training experience in: football, baseball, softball, field hockey, alpine & Nordic skiing, ice hockey, swimming & diving, track & field, soccer, tennis, golf, lacrosse, and basketball. Greg is currently a physical education teacher; strength & conditioning coach and girls assistant track & field Wakefield High School. Greg is also the Director of POWER & PRIDE Strength & Conditioning programs for all levels of training abilities. Greg is a former collegiate and semi-professional football player. He is also a football official at the college and high school level. Greg's philosophy on strength training is that manipulating training variables fro safety and effectiveness, along with proper exerciseexecution are keys to the success athlete's training program. |
